The ZERO1 Festival

Every year, French and international artists gather in La Rochelle to celebrate digital art at ZERØ1, a festival that is accessible, free, and open to everyone. As part of its commitment to cultural democratization, the festival includes art mediation programs and opportunities for the public to meet artists. It also develops educational activities for schools, to encourage young audiences to develop a critical perspective on art.
New this year: the festival launches a major new focus — the Campus Program. Inspired by the creativity of emerging young artists from around the world, this edition aims to foster exchanges between cultures and generations.

In partnership with La Rochelle University and its research laboratories, the ZERØ1 Festival will support artists or collectives in the creation of original works. These works will be developed through dialogue between artists and researchers, whose research topics will be artistically interpreted in relation to the theme Reset.
In its exhibition program, the festival brings together artists from diverse backgrounds, disciplines, and cultures, resulting in a rich fusion of aesthetics, practices, and stories.

The festival also takes over Le Chantier des Francofolies, a local stage for emerging creators, for a unique night: Dockyard — featuring artists, visual performances, and a festive atmosphere.

Call for Projects 2026 — Two Forms of Participation

Artists, researchers, designers, urban planners, choreographers, architects, and performers — you are invited to submit proposals that question, challenge, imagine, and reinvent our relationship with time, as conceived through the lens of Reset:
What needs to be reprogrammed?
What should we free ourselves from?
Which scripts must we short-circuit?
What futures do we desire — and how can we make them conceivable?
