The Saint-Nicolas Tower, which is believed to have been started in the early 1340s, is one of three towers located on the La Rochelle waterfront. It is one of the main towers of the old port of La Rochelle. While you won't find any gifts or treats waiting at the foot of the tower for Saint Nicholas Day as you might in countries like Switzerland, you can discover some superb exhibitions there during the Zero1 Festival.
