The artist has trained an artificial neural network using the entire character set of the Unicode standard. The resulting data models represent all available human sign systems on an equal footing. From this extrapolation emerges a universal language without transition, situated at the boundary between the trans-human and the trans-machine. The live performance provides an audiovisual narrative of the states of this process, from extraction to transformation into a Universal Language. This immersive experience invites the audience to witness the synthesis of global communication, bridging the gap between biological cognition and algorithmic processing in a unique, evolving digital landscape.

Andreas Lutz

Andreas Lutz's work explores the human-machine relationship with the goal of creating integrated and universal communication systems. Within these boundaries, he analyzes and reveals phenomena of perception in relation to reality and the principles of abstract aesthetics through sculptures, installations, and performances. The creation of experimental soundscapes and the relationship between semiotics and sound are other aspects of his work.
