Sisyphian Octopods is a work composed of 5 mobile robotic beings, equipped with small LCD screens. The videos playing on the screens of these crustaceans evoke a visceral interiority: images of human organs functioning through pumping, beating, and other rhythmic motions. Like Sisyphus, these robots carry their own existence within them, endlessly repeating in video form, reflecting a cycle of perpetual, futile labor that defines their mechanical nature and their strange, lifelike presence in the gallery space, inviting viewers to contemplate the intersection of biology and technology.
