These postcards, seemingly dark and opaque, conceal an even bleaker reality: the rising sea levels caused by climate change. When exposed to a heat source or simply touched, these cards reveal satellite imagery of islands destined to disappear beneath the waves over the coming centuries, according to scientific projections. This work thus offers a poignant and tangible vision of a future threatened by the devastating consequences of climate change.
