Soft Data : Photographie, mémoire et décomposition matérielle — un projet de recherche artistique qui matérialise des traces numériques à travers des procédés photographiques. S’appuyant sur les théories de l’au-delà numérique et sur la matérialité posthumaine, le projet remet en cause l’idée d’une permanence du numérique en laissant la mémoire se dégrader matériellement.

Soft Data: Photography, Memory, and Material Decay — an artistic research project that materializes digital traces through photographic processes. The work investigates how digital remains — images and messages that persist beyond the body — are dependent on fragile material infrastructures. Drawing on digital afterlife theory and posthuman materiality, the project challenges assumptions of digital permanence by allowing memory to decay materially.
