Working with residues means hearing our "Latin American denial," as the Argentine thinker Rodolfo Kusch understood it (La negación americana). We accept our inability to sustain large-scale industry or mass production, choosing instead to focus on those small, disjointed gestures. We leave the corset of "true" science to other realms—a science that denies anything that doesn't fit its mold. This denial is waste because it remains unasserted. These residues are the material, the very substance of our work.

The work stems from research into emulating a "living" object through the use of industrial waste. I start from the premise of technological conformation as the "becoming" of a second life for objects. This work presents, as a paradigm of our time, the dependence of the organic on technology.

ENTES (entities) that breathe and pulse constantly. Synchronicity, an almost unsettling rhythmic perfection that does not seem destined to last forever. What happens if it breaks? What is the fragility of the organic in the face of technology?

It is a look at the action that technology takes to modify the organic. Technology often threatens its limit of resistance.
