Monolithes is a series of concrete sculptures crafted from industrial polystyrene waste, transformed through scanning and digital processes prior to casting. Each sculpture evolves through four distinct states, revealing cracks, porosity, and biological colonization. Displayed within an immersive optical installation, they layer light and reflections to imbue the concrete with a living quality. In this way, the work offers a sensory "reset," inviting viewers to perceive the material's hidden memory and its inherent capacity to coexist with coastal ecosystems.
